Why Choose Master Chong’s World Class Taekwondo for your 4–5-year-olds martial arts classes
We have been working with students in this age group for decades. Every day, we greet our youngest students with a smile. Our caring teachers know to expect a range of personalities and learning styles and we love working with all of them! We consider it an honor and a pleasure to help our Little Tigers to develop physically, mentally, and socially. Not only do we have Little Tigers who have gone on to become Black Belts, we also have some who have grown up to become instructors themselves. Our Little Tigers program is just the beginning!
What is the First Step and What Should Parent Expect?
Choose a Location
The first step to getting your child involved in Taekwondo is as simple as filling out our form to schedule a visit. At that point, you will choose from our 5 convenient locations:
Amherst (Niagara Falls Boulevard)
East Amherst (Transit Road, North of Maple)
Lancaster (Transit Road, Depew)
Orchard Park (Southwestern Boulevard)
Hamburg (South Park)
At your appointment, your family will meet with one of our instructors enjoy a quick tour of our facilities, discuss your child’s interests, and needs and get answers to any questions you may have. During your child’s first lesson, their instructor will lead them through a few simple exercises, followed by different Taekwondo techniques. You will sit in on the whole session so you can see for yourself just how much fun your child has learning Taekwondo.
How big are the classes?
Class sizes can vary based on days and times. For our Little Tigers program, we strive to maintain a student to teacher ratio of 1:8 students, so that all classes are fun, safe, and productive. Multiple instructors assist in each class, enabling us to conduct drills with smaller groups, even during more popular class times.
What if my child has special needs?
We have successfully taught Taekwondo to a large range of students. We treat each situation on a case-by-case basis and would welcome the opportunity to meet your child and evaluate their readiness to enjoy our classes. Our instructors have years of experience at adjusting their communication styles and providing physical assistance so that more children can enjoy Taekwondo.
Is Taekwondo Hard to Learn?
At World Class Taekwondo we have designed our curriculum and class structure to provide the perfect amount of challenge for each level of student. Our Little Tigers classes are 30 minutes long and include a variety of short drills and step by step instruction. By giving students age-appropriate requirements, we keep them on task and excited.
