Join us to congratulate Grandmaster Chong on his incredible career and a well deserved retirement. Together we will share a weekend of memories, fun, and family. Alumni staff and spouse are invited. Teenage children may attend as well.

Class with Grandmaster Chong
We will gather together in uniform for one of the most meaningful classes with Sabum-nim ever. Come train side by side with over three decades of alumni masters. This will be a wonderful opportunity to listen and learn from Sabum-nim as he provides his words of wisdom and reflection on what it means to be a Taekwondo teacher.
7:00pm+ at Salvatore’s Italian Gardens
Affiliate and Alumni Banquet
You are invited as Sabum-nim’s guest for a banquet to celebrate over 40 years of Taekwondo in Syracuse and Buffalo. It will also be our opportunity to honor our teacher for all of his guidance and love. This will be a special evening that will allow us all to thank Grandmaster Chong for his impact on our lives, and to let him know how grateful we are to have had him as our Taekwondo teacher.

We have a block of rooms at The Delavan Hotel, which is located in the same building as Salvatore’s Grand Manor where the retirement party is being held. We also have additional rooms located at the Salvatore’s Garden Place Hotel ,located approximately a half mile away. Please see the information below to make your reservations.
NOTE: The cutoff date to reserve rooms using this code is July 3rd. However, the best chance to get the exact room and location you prefer is to reserve early.

3. Make a donation to the gift fund for Grandmaster Chong
We would like to gather enough to send Grandmaster and Mrs. Chong on an all expense paid vacation and golfing trip to Jeju island in Korea. The suggested amount for school owners is $500 each.
