FAQ’s about World Class Taekwondo
Taekwondo, originating from Korea, is unique among martial arts like Karate (from Japan) and Kung Fu (from China). It’s the most popular martial art worldwide, with a strong emphasis on kicking techniques. These kicks improve balance, flexibility, and endurance, making Taekwondo an excellent choice for self-defense and overall fitness for students of any size.
Children as young as four can start benefiting from Taekwondo training. Our trial lesson allows our instructors to work one-on-one with your child, assessing their readiness for group classes. Based on this assessment, our experienced staff will recommend the best program to suit your child’s needs.
Absolutely not. From the very first lesson, we instill the principle that a true “Taekwondo kid” never misuses their skills. Our students learn that physical and mental toughness should be coupled with humility, courtesy, and respect. Taekwondo at World Class Taekwondo is about self-improvement and exercise, not a tool for bullying.
Safety is our top priority. Taekwondo is safe and enjoyable for students of all ages and abilities. Classes are supervised by expert instructors, and techniques are taught step-by-step at each student’s own pace. We incorporate thorough stretching routines, matted flooring, and protective safety equipment to ensure a safe learning environment.
